What You Can Expect From Every Impending TV Reboot, Revival & More

No TV show ever really, truly dies.

That’s doubly true in the age of streaming, but not just because you can easily go back and watch almost any show that has ever aired. Many series are now getting a second life in the form of a reboot, or a revival, or a sequel, or a reimagining, or whatever it is you want to call it. There’s news of a returning series almost every week at this point, and it’s equal parts exhausting and exhilarating.

Can we travel back in time simply by recreating primetime line-ups from 2008? Probably not, but there’s no harm in trying.

In an effort to keep all the TV time traveling straight, we’ve got a handy gallery of all the new versions of old shows that are waiting in the pipeline. Some have premiered, some have premiere dates, and some are still a bit of a distant dream that may never see the light of day. (RIP, Lizzie McGuire.)
