Walt Disney Company allowing employees to return to offices starting July 4

Do you smell that? That’s the smell of Ronto Wraps and normalcy, my friends. Well, phased normalcy. Allow me to explain.

According to Deadline, chances are that Disney’s stateside employees can start returning to their offices after July 4. Hold up! Like, indoors? With people working alongside each another and breathing the same air? It’s like Thursday, what a concept! News that Disney employees will soon be permitted to escape the confines of their homes and begin their daily commutes anew comes not long after Warner Bros. employees were notified of a possible September return to the norm.

Well, how do you like that? Is that a light at the end of a very long tunnel that I see? Is the future so bright we’ll have to wear shades? Well, maybe not yet, but we’re getting there. The fact that Disney is considering inviting employees back to their respective offices should be taken as a good sign. It means the United States is finally turning a corner and winning the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. While I imagine that some folks will be anxious about making the journey back to the workplace, I’m sure that others are excited to leave their remote workplace behind.

Plus, who doesn’t miss Free Bagel Fridays and actual water cooler chat sessions? You know that Brenda from Sales and Chad from Marketing has some juicy stories they can’t wait to share. Make sure your body is ready. Seriously. Don’t go back to the office unless your body is ready.
