Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh is providing her sympathy following the loss of life of a girl hit by a motorbike escorting the royal.
Helen Holland, 81—who was struck by a police escort on Could 10 at an intersection in West London—died on Could 24 on account of her accidents, her household confirmed. Shortly after her passing, Sophie—who’s married to Prince Edward—mirrored on the tragic loss.
“The Duchess of Edinburgh is deeply saddened to listen to that Helen Holland has handed away,” Buckingham Palace stated in a to assertion by way of the Associated Press. “Her Royal Highness’s deepest condolences and sympathies go to all of Ms. Holland’s household.”
