If you’d like to go into GODZILLA VS. KONG as blind as possible, it’s best to avoid this trailer. In less than two weeks, the much-anticipated face-off between Godzilla and King Kong will arrive, and Warner Bros. have released a new slickly-cut trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong that teases the arrival of an even bigger threat seen reflected in Godzilla’s eye. While previous trailers haven’t shown much of this new monster, I do wish that they had been able to keep his involvement in the film more of a secret as it would have been a hell of a surprise for audiences, but that’s the business I suppose. No matter what, I am still enormously pumped for this film, a good old fashioned monster brawl bathed in neon glow is exactly what I need right now.
